The history of Domus Rs is linked to Hipoges, in 2021 Hipoges Iberia (KKR) enters in the capital of Domus with the objective of boosting the growth and consolidation as a reference player of Domus RS in the residential market.

Hipoges from birth

Founded in 2008, Hipoges is one of the leading asset management platforms (servicer) in Southern Europe for distressed assets, with more than 47 billion euros in assets under management.

Hipoges manages a broad spectrum of assets and provides a variety of services related to their management. These assets include residential mortgages, corporate loans, SME loans, unsecured loans, government and corporate receivables, and residential and commercial real estate assets.

With offices in Spain, Portugal, Italy and Greece (4 countries) and more than 1400 employees worldwide, Hipoges works for some of the leading international financial institutions and investors specialized in the distressed asset sector.

Hipoges Iberia is founded.

June

Establishment of Hipoges Portugal (Lisbon).

November

Hipoges receives the "Above average" rating from Standard & Poor's in special servicing of residential mortgages.

August

Hipoges reaches 10,000 million euros of assets under management.

Establishment of Hypoges Hellas (Athens).

KKR is the new majority shareholder of Hipoges.

Hipoges reaches 20,000 million euros of assets under management focused on real estate portfolio entities.

Opening of the Porto (Portugal) office.

Hipoges acquires a majority stake in the real estate company Alsvit, established in Athens (Greece).

The Bank of Greece grants Hipoges Iberia the NPL Servicing License.

Hipoges starts working for SAREB in Spain.

Opening of the office in Murcia (Spain).

Hipoges acquires a majority stake in the company Domus Capital.

Hipoges acquires a majority stake in the Italian Servicer Axis.

Hipoges launches Hemisphere, an independent valuation firm in Portugal.
